With generous volumes and continuous lines, the Gloop sofa translates the idea of a body in transformation. Inspired by the amorphous characters Gloop and Gleep from a 1970s cartoon—beings that molded to need—the piece proposes a new understanding of comfort and adaptability in contemporary furniture. The absence of edges and the fusion of seat, backrest and arms result in a fluid geometry that gently asserts itself in space. Ergonomics are suggested by the very gesture of the design, which welcomes the body without rigidity, offering a tactile and visual sensory experience. More than a sofa, Gloop possesses a sculptural movement that unites function, comfort and affection.
